The clients have a large extended family and love to have large gatherings at their house. While the current space is fairly large they wanted more and wanted to completely transform the entire space. We started out with a fairly simple addition but the clients wanted more so we came up with a modern look fitting of the clients aesthetic.
(MY APPROACH)
The design is completely driven by the client. It is my job as the designer to interpret the client's vision into a built form while keeping it within the framework of what the city and the code allows. It's a delicate balance of art and science and while it can cause numerous headaches the end result is going to be amazing!

Re-envisioning something is no easy task. With the right inspiration and willing client we can make this transformation happen.
(CHALLENGES)
The location of the project requires special care and communication with the city to make sure what is proposed is possible. There is always a way to make a project happen. In this case there is an extensive flood zone that needs to be considered and we are currently working with the client and city to make the design possible.
(PROBLEMS)
There is always a solution for each challenge. It takes creativity, research, and experience to make that solution possible.
